Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Award 2018-19
Yuki won the 1st Prize
On Sunday 17th February 2019, Yuki won the Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Award, was one of 6 finalists competing.
The Richard Lewis Award was founded in 2001 and is open to postgraduate singers studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Previous winners have gone on to establish illustrious international careers. The Award is generously funded by Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Trust. This charity was establishes in 1993 by Elizabeth Muir-Lewis, three years after the death of her husband Richard Lewis, the great British tenor.
